1. Does renting a Polaris Slingshot require a motorcycle License?
No, in the state of Florida an auto cycle bill was signed that allows auto-licensed drivers to drive three-wheel vehicles, such as the Polaris Slingshot, without a motorcycle license.
2. Anything specific needed to drive a Polaris Slingshot Rental?
Yes, a valid driver's license is required and the operator must be at least 21 years of age.
3. How does SLINGSHOT RENTAL insurance work?
Liability Insurance coverage is mandatory throughout the duration of the rental for you, any additional drivers listed on the waiver, and any minors that could be a possible passenger. Our insurance is REQUIRED at a flat rate of $20. Personal insurance is more than welcome to be provided, the more coverage the better.
4. Is a security deposit required FOR MY SLINGSHOT RENTAL ?
Yes, a $300 deposit is required for 25 years or older (25 years or younger deposit will vary) deposit is accepted via cash, cash app, Zelle, or an authorized credit/debit card. If the Slingshot is returned in perfect condition the $300 deposit will be immediately returned to you. In any event, where there was intentional neglect, misconduct, unlawful activities, towing, parking/speeding tickets, tolls, late fees, and/or ANY damage, you WILL be responsible and the estimated cost will be taken from the deposit.
5. If I cancel my SLINGSHOT RENTAL reservation will I receive a full refund?
Yes, no cancellation fees.
